http://www.faxwave.com is a free service that gives you a number you can have faxes sent to, then they forward to any email address you choose.

I've been looking at efax for my on the road stuff.

Anyone have any expieriene with them?

J2 (http://www.j2.com) lets you receive faxes to your email for free, but you have to pay a fee if you want to send out faxes. We are currently using J2 for incoming faxes and voicemail, and we are pleased with the service.

One point about fax over the net, don't most firms use fax because they feel it is more secure then emailing.
