Someone who has actually played Rock Band would know that there is a lot more to it than merely being a 'party game'.

And my point wasn't if RB is or isn't a party game. My point was the fallacy of the argument that those that don't care for it as a single-player experience must have never really played it. And I don't care for it outside of a party setting because I seriously cannot stand half of the songs in the games, especially when I'm required to hear them ad nauseum to get a good score.
With other people I can tolerate bad/annoying songs, but not when I'm alone.

Nope, I'm fine with everything! Although i've seen you get a little pissy a couple times now in these threads.

But yeah, you can dislike music games in general and that's fine. I didn't vote for Rock Band either. But citing your dislike just because its a party game is a poor reason.
