I am very pleased with my Stratocenter VPS plan.

I've been using it for nearly 6 months now and never had any major problems. Any issues I had were promptly resolved within 24 hours. Often an issue was handled in just a few hours. I find the support staff to be pleasant and very knowledgeable.

I do a lot of compiling of applications from source and the quad core servers have handled anything I've thrown at them. My VPS is running a lot of services such as:
apache2, mysql, wordpress, awstats, nagios, bandwidthd, and I've never had any issues with the server load or response time.

I have Debian installed on my VPS. You can choose from CentOS, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition or any other OS you want they should be able to accomodate you. Just let Stratocenter know what your needs are before you signup.

You can use their custom control app (like HyperVM) which is accessed through a secure VPN link to reboot, request a different OS image be installed or to check your resource usage.

I've had some bad VPS providers in the past and it's a great relief to have finally found one that gives such solid performance and support and at a competitive price. In my experience you get what you pay for.
