Hello All,
I am a newbie around here and am interested in getting into the business of Web Hosting Provider. I have realized that to be a successful host, I first need to understand the technology/software that runs this business. After doing some research, I have realized that generally Linux/FreeBSD are the 2 OS being used. I am new to both and hence will have to learn from scratch. Now though both are based on UNIX, I would like to learn only one and master that. So I request your views on suitability of either of the OS as a hosting platform.
P.S. People in favour of Linux, please mention the distro, you would suggest.
