So it's safe to say you are in deen now ?
I was always in the deen, never went anywhere. Just lapsed in being religious. Although I am hoping maybe in a few years time to start getting back into learning Arabic and hopefully doing Hajj and being more of an observant Muslim. Either way I am pretty secular and liberal. I would not want to be living under the Taliban thats for sure.

She cant right a sentence without swearing. and most of her questions are baseless. Shes just your average 20 year old thats getting happy over being athiest. If shes so confident why doesnt she challenge an imam. The way she is disrespecting religion dosnt make her right. She can just about string together a couple of cultural wrong doings and blame Islam for it. Islam is about peace. Otherwise you wouldnt have 1Bill+ muslims practicing it. Are muslims scientist, Doctors, Engineers and the elite stupid?
There are a few things wrong with this post. I know Arabic, and I have read the Quran translation and as well in Arabic. Firstly, she is quoting the Quranic verses. Secondly, there are more Christians then Muslims, and Christians have more scientists and doctors etc does that make Christianity right? No of course not. Truth is not measured by how many folks follow something.
Just laugh it off bro, making comments like the ones above don't really do Islam and justice.

She believes in god but not religion.
easy. Don't blame her.
I don't believe there's no God, I know for sure there's no God. And thank God, there's no God.

Don't blame the molvis she apparently only went to "Sunday" mosque. I suspect it could be a 'fake' solely based on the lack of knowledge of the Arabic language she has.
Its their job to make sure the students understand. It is their job to teach them correct Arabic. If you are gonna give translations to a confused adolescent mind without telling them the background of the translation, they will take the English words literally.

Im just putting my point across, that shes just bullshitting. She doesnt even know the proper translation into english isnt 100% correct. and secondly quranic arabic is different and no longer spoken. Its like old english...most meaning are misunderstood, and shes just young and doesnt even know shiit, therfore nothing she says can validate her telling the truth...
Yeah, I agree with you on the Arabic part, only a very few speak Quranic Arabic. Arabic is in dialects hence hard to learn. Her lack of knowable on Arabic gives it away. Plus if you read her comments, some of them seem inconsistent. If you went to mosque even one day a week you would know the Quran is not supposed to be in any order, its not even supposed to be read like a book its supposed to be recited like poetry. The fact that she is trying to read it like a book is really silly.

I was tryin' not to mention the fact that she was reading metaphorical language literally.
Quran is like this: "She is like the East, and she is like the West"
No one would in the right mind try to read that literally there is metaphor there. "She" would mean a woman. It would simply metaphorically mean. "The women raises like the sun and also sets like the sun". The connection to the east is the raising of the sun and to the west its setting of the sun.
In all honestly, even in damn Urdu you have these metaphors, I don't know of any Pakistani who would not understand a metaphors as Indo-Aryan language desis speak is well connected to metaphors. I suspect she might be lying about being a ex Muslim Pakistani.
She has no commend of the language she does not even understand English, metaphors and similes.

Madrion: I said "mostly" I was not specifically talking about her. Many women hide the apostasy due to fear of backlash and stigmatization from within the community. Many Pakistani women are forced into following Islam in the Pakistani community, does not matter about if the family is moderate the women are generally expected to follow the cultrual and religious norms within the Pakistani society. I don't know of any Pakistani girl who has ever taken a boyfriend home not even within a liberal Pakistani family.
Why did you emphasize "QUESTION" what where you trying to get at?

Kafirgirl did not just do that. Thats really annoyed me so I will expose her for the fool she is.
Priest her altergo posts this:
i’ve heard that line about how the Quran can only be fully interpreted correctly if read in Arabic, presumably due to context which i never really understood. i figured it was bullshit. now i know it is bullshit because you can’t really take that shit out of context any damn way. perhaps it’s one of those verses that later on can be cancelled or something, to the delight of the cherry-picking believers.
Why do I think its her, well I have wordpress blog too. It tells you which website referred you, so its clear she saw this thread saw my comments and decided to launch a preemptive attack. Have you noticed how the text is similar in style and profanities to the rest of her posts. Who's eyes is she trying to pull the wool over?
Then about a hour later she responds to to herself by posting this:
Priest, know another one I love? “You can’t read the Quran literally, it’s all metaphors.” Um, the book itself says that you’re supposed to take it literally. Is that a metaphor?
That is so transparent of her. She's read this thread, read the posts in this thread then read her comments, she is talking to herself.
Lets challenge her on her claim she said the Qu'ran says its supposed to be taken literally. Does it really? I have read the Qu'ran in Arabic no where does it says its meant to be taken literally the Qu'ran in Arabic only says it is "clear" never to be read literally.
Now moving on what is the context of this chapter? what is historical background of this chapter?
The background is the Peace Treaty of Hudaibiyah it was during a war! you don't hand out cake during a war you fight:
http://www.cyberistan.org/islamic/treaty28.html
In the sixth year after his migration to Medina (March 628), Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) decided to perform the Umrah (the lesser pilgrimage). Fourteen hundred of the companions joined the Prophet for Mecca. He ordered them not to carry any weapons of war, but allowed a sword which was customary for the travelers to carry for protection against caravan raids.
The Quraish (Pagans) intent upon not allowing the prophet to enter Mecca closed all access to the city. The Prophet then reached a place called Hudaibiya, on the precincts of the sacred territory of Mecca, and halted there. The Quraysh tried to provoke the Prophet’s companions to fighting. Upon finding the pilgrims in their Ihram (pilgrim’s garb) and their intention not to fight, the fears and anxieties of the Quraysh were abated; and they were forced to think of the consequences if the pilgrims were turned back without performing the rites. The Quraysh sent Urwah bin Mas’ud to the Prophet as their spokesman. The Prophet’s delegation and that of the Quraysh negotiated back and forth. In these deliberations, the Quraysh made some unpleasant remarks about the Prophet and his companions. At this Urwah, the Meccan representative, felt that he was led to be misguided and protested to Quraysh that he had not made a pact with them for such a behavior and stated:
“I have been sent as envoy to the courts of Kesra (Chosroes), Qaisar (Caeser), and the Negus but I have not seen a king whose men so honor him as the companions of Muhammad honor Muhammad. If he commands anything they almost outstrip his words in fulfilling it....When he speaks, their voices are hushed in his presence and they lower their eyes in reverence for him. He has made you a good offer, therefore accept it from him.”
The Quraysh realizing their mistake and the risk of losing important allies, came to an agreement with the Prophet. The terms of the treaty were written down and is known as the "Treaty of Hudaibiyah.” It included:
“In your name, O Allah. These are the terms of the truce between Muhammad, the son of Abdullah and Suhayl, the son of Amr (of Mecca).
Both parties have agreed to lay down the burden of war for ten years. During this time, each party shall be safe, and neither shall injure the other; no secret damage shall be inflicted, but uprightness and honor shall prevail between them.
The Muslims shall return this year without performing Umrah (the pilgrimage). In the coming year, you may enter it with your companions, staying therein for three days, bearing no arms except the arms of the traveler, with swords remaining in their sheaths.
If a Quraysh person comes to Muhammad (i.e., after accepting Islam) without the permission of his guardian, Muhammad shall return him to them, but if one of the Muhammad’s people come to the Quraysh, he shall not be returned.
Whoever wishes to enter into covenant with Muhammad can do so, and whoever wishes to enter into covenant with the Quraysh can do so.”
Many of the Muslims were not satisfied with the terms of the treaty and they regarded it to be humiliating to themselves, considering the behavior of the Quraish against the Prophet during the negotiations. The Prophet declared the treaty a victory and they accepted it on the conviction that Allah and His messenger know best.
On their way back to Medina, Allah (The One God) revealed to the Prophet (pbuh) a chapter of the Qur’an known as “Al-Fath” (The Victory, XLVIII). The chapter begins with: “Verily We have given thee a victory, a very clear victory.”
 now I am 100% sure she is not an ex Muslim or a Pakistani. Only someone idiotic would even try to fool themselves with the commontry she gave to the verses.
Am done with this woman. I think all that texting and sexual frustration got to her head when she typed that post out.

She's reading outdated translations of the Qur'ran: Here is the best English translation of the Qu'ran: http://www.free-minds.org/quran/ its still not good as Arabic though.
